38 years later, the greatest final scene in fantasy movie history is still untouchable

No movie is flawless, but The Princess Bride comes close. Its bombastic ending, in particular, stands out because of how beautifully it ties all of its loose ends without being tedious about it. This finale was equal parts funny, action-packed, and vindicating, making it one of the best fantasy endings of all time.
